SPAM for everyone!
No, not the slimy food in a can. I’m talking about the annoying craptastic emails and comments we all regularly receive. Most people, I assume, empty the spam folder without glancing on its content. I, on the other hand, am far too curious for my own good and often peruse the entirely-unrelated postings that attempt to squirm into the items that truly count.
Let’s take a look at a few gems that meandered onto my blog today:
Hi there, I found your blog via Google while searching for first aid for a heart attack and your post looks very interesting for me.
Oh, did you? Good thing I mentioned heart attacks in my post about the Renaissance Festival fortune teller… Nice try, Mr. Potenzmittel.
If you are open to having a guest blog poster please reply and let me know. I will provide you with unique content for your blog, thanks.
Coming from “Pell Grant,” I cannot imagine this is true whatsoever. Lies are not tolerated here unless I’m the one spewing them, of course.
It is very interesting,Thank you for sharing this to us! It sounds like an amazing & beautiful race (kinda wish I’d run it, too). Glad the weather held for you.
Apparently the blogosphere is filled with so many runners that this spam-bot decided my “Tuneage Tuesday” posting related to race participation. Too bad that this comment found its way onto the blog of a girl who would only run if chased.
It’s really a nice and helpful piece of information. I’m glad that you shared this helpful info with us. Please keep us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.
Who would’ve thought one of my posts about being too-busy-for-words would be “helpful information.” I’m glad to know the world is thriving as a result of my babble. Yay…
This spam stuff seriously baffles me. If you’re going to attempt blasting on my blog, at least make it a bit more relative to the actual content. Jeez, it’s not that tough.

I don’t understand spam at all, but apparently I provide a lot of helpful information.

I got a lot of spam comments too! It irks me. Haha a lot of those usually are for ads.

The very heart of your writing whilst sounding reasonable at first, did not really sit properly with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you were able to make me a believer unfortunately just for a while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and you would do nicely to fill in all those gaps. In the event you can accomplish that, I would undoubtedly be impressed.
