Today, my amazingly adorable nephew, Jaidyn, turns one year old! And as you read this, I’m just a few hours away from boarding a plane bound for Scranton, Pa. to make sure I’m there for his very first birthday party. Yay!!!
I cannot believe it’s already been a whole year since he came into this world. Unbelievable the way time flies! Since then, I’ve sadly only seen the monster a handful of times. Sometimes living 600 miles away has serious downfalls, and this is certainly one of those. But no matter the distance, he has an aunt who loves him more than words can possibly say. At least a half dozen photo frames are littered around my apartment with his cute face inside, not to mention he’s the background of my work computer and the screen saver on my cell phone. He may be physically far away, but he’s in my heart at all times.
With that said… I’m wishing a big huge gigantic HAPPPPPY BIRTHDAYYYY to the best little boy in the world. I cannot wait to see you!!!

OMG SO CUTE! I wish I had something more articulate or sophisticated to say, but OMG SO CUTE! I can’t wait to have nieces and nephews (we didn’t plan well when both me and my husband were the oldest child!).
