Before the day is through, I just want to take a brief moment to wish my favorite Beatle — drummers are always my #1 — a very Happy 70th Birthday.
This one’s for you, Richard Starkey … aka Ringo Starr. We could’ve shared the day — I was due July 7, 1985 — but apparently I took my damn time and waited an extra eight days. Sigh, I was thisclose.
(I only wish I could take credit for that video… Alas, it was not me. Just want to ensure you know that.)
