For several months, I just couldn’t find anything worthwhile to photograph. Football season was over, nature wasn’t lending itself to amazing pictures, and the locations I’d venture to for work simply weren’t thrilling.
But my beach vacation to the Outer Banks last week allowed for sandy shores, sunny days and breath-taking sunsets that helped me snap a ton of fun photos. They may not be among my favorites, but still worth sharing. Let me know what you think!
A plaque dedicated to Orville and Wilbur Wright with their memorial -- huge and a half-mile away -- in the distance.
And here’s a photo of the two lovely ladies, Jenn and Renee, who joined me for this absolutely fabulous vacation. It surely wouldn’t have been the same beach trip without them.

OBX is on my list of places I *must* visit in the summer months. your pictures are gorgeous – but that’s a given when they’re taken on a beach, right?

@thatShortChick, You definitely need to visit. It’s beautiful, especially the northernmost or southernmost areas. Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills aren’t bad, but places like Duck, Corolla and Hatteras are exceptionally awesome.
